For as long as I know, I’ve been fond of imagery and taking photos. I remember getting my first camera phone, the Motorola SLVR L7, constantly taking photos of every and anything around me; also deleting photos because of memory to take more and better photos.
At the time I didn’t think anything of it. I just really liked taking photos. I then went on to study Music at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago where my main instrument was the Voice, however, I also played the Steel Pan and Piano.
While this may seem off-topic, during those years of university is where I discovered my passion for photography.
I volunteered to shoot for a concert in 2015 using for the first time a DSLR and surprisingly shocked myself with the tremendous results. I wanted more.
My portfolio showcases a few images I’ve taken over the years which consist of primarily portraits and landscapes.
A photographer that I admire is Peter McKinnon out of Toronto, Canada.
My goal is to become better than I was yesterday.
I’d love to hear from you all, so feel free to contact me.
